Our eBooks can be read on dedicated eReaders such as a Kobo or Nook. Unfortunately, Kindles are not compatible with library eBooks so they are not recommended if you plan to read library eBooks.

Family Literacy Day is January 27
Family Literacy Day takes place on January 27 each year, raising awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family.

This year's theme is "Celebrate your Heritage". Take time to explore and learn about your heritage. There’s no better way to learn about your family, than together as a family.

Get Wild at our January Jungle
Your kids have one more week before it's back to school. If you're running out of ideas for how to keep them entertained, we've got programs and activities happening daily that are sure to keep you busy.

*Please note that some of these programs have limited space. Free tickets are available 30 minutes prior to the program on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to arrive early so you don't miss out!

Make some friends and a new simple craft while socializing and having fun. All levels are welcome and no crafting experience necessary.

A new year means new health and fitness goals. Put your health first with our Health Break Program. Enjoy a Dance Break with Deanna from Uptempo Barrie Dance Studio, and
Chair Yoga with Bianca from Stasis Jiu Jitsu & Yoga.

One fantastic way to make a difference this winter is with Snow Angels. Snow Angels connects volunteers with neighbours who need help shovelling their driveway. Sign up to be a volunteer and help those in need, or request help for yourself or someone you know.
