NaNoWriMo 2021

November is National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo! Writing a novel alone can be difficult, even for seasoned writers. NaNoWriMo helps you track your progress, set milestones, connect with other writers in a vast community, and participate in events that are designed to make sure you finish your novel. Oh, and best of all, it’s free!

If you've ever wanted to write a novel, or are looking for a challenge to push yourself to finish your next book, we've put together some excellent programs to help! We're partnering with EIGHT other libraries in the area to bring you Simcoe NaNoWriMo! Join other writers in Simcoe County to take on the NaNoWriMo challenge of writing 50,000 words in 30 days!

Vaccination Clinic

On Tuesday, November 9, the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit will be hosting a Pop-Up Vaccination Clinic at both library locations. They are walk-in clinics (no appointment needed) with first and second doses available.
