BPL Comic Fest is Back: September 21, 10 am - 3 pm

Mark your calendar! BPL Comic Fest is happening at the Downtown Library on Saturday, September 21, from 10 am to 3 pm.

 

Celebrate comic book culture with a full day of free activities:

  • Kids’ events, including character meet & greets, balloon twisting, and face painting,
  • Local vendor exhibition,
  • 360 photo booth,
  • And so much more!

Over $72,000 Raised at the 20th Annual Barrie Dragon Boat Festival

On Saturday, August 17, over 800 energetic paddlers took to Kempenfelt Bay, raising over $72,000 for various charities, including the Barrie Public Library’s Future Branches Campaign. With 36 teams competing, the event was a huge success. A big thank you to the presenting sponsor Tim Hortons for making this possible!
