20th Annual Barrie Dragon Boat Festival

Mark your calendar on August 17 for the Barrie Dragon Boat Festival, hosted by the Barrie Public Library and sponsored by Tim Hortons.

 

  • Watch exciting races beginning at 7am
  • Family-friendly activities in the Tim Hortons Family Zone from 10am–2pm
  • Tim Hortons coffee by donation...and more!

Meet us at Heritage Park starting at 7am for a day of fun on Kempenfelt Bay.

We are so excited to be celebrating two years of the Holly Library! Thank you to our community of 6,976 cardholders who call the Holly Library home.
 
We hope you’ll come to celebrate at the Holly Anniversary Party on August 9 from 10am–12pm. There will be fun crafts, treats, and much more!

Little Paddlers Colouring Contest:

Win Timbits for a Year!

To celebrate the 20th Annual Barrie Dragon Boat Festival, the Barrie Public Library and Tim Hortons have teamed up again to offer the Little Paddlers Colouring Contest.

 

From August 1–17, children ages 0–9 are invited to drop by their closest library location to pick up a colouring sheet and be entered to win Timbits for a year!
