National Youth Week May 1 to 7

Fun Events for Tweens and Teens!

National Youth Week is May 1 – 7! We've put together a ton of events for your 11-17 year-old to enjoy - from Harry Potter Trivia and a Teen Coffee House to Star Wars Trivia and a Youth Takeover at Peggy Hill Team Community Centre.

BIG Spring Book Sale! May 26-28

Time to refresh your shelves for the summer! Our BIG Spring Book Sale is BACK, taking place from Friday, May 26 to Sunday, May 28 at our Downtown Library.

Our volunteers have been busy organizing a wide variety gently-used books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, and video games. Bring your own bag or purchase a reusable Library bag for $2. 

 

Please note: we are not accepting donations from the community for this event as our supplies are already full!

Join us at the Barrie Farmer’s Market (Barrie City Hall) from 9am-12pm for this free community event during Mental Health Awareness Week!

Discover health and wellness resources in our community with active demos, free harm reduction kits, activities, and giveaways.

Drop by the Barrie Farmer's Market for musical performances from the Barrie Jazz & Blues Festival and the Barrie Folk Society

This event is hosted in part by the Barrie Police Service and Barrie Public Library.
